The New York Times recently put out the answer to a question: “If you had a week to spend in another city, where should you go?”
As an answer to this question, Toronto made top 10, coming in at 7th place, specifically. Some of the listed reasons to travel to Toronto included the following.
- Nature: Toronto’s bike paths and walking areas allow easy access to beautiful natural landscapes.
- Art: Toronto has a world-renowned film festival and art culture.
- Architecture: The neighborhoods of the Union Pearson link were cited as having attractive architecture, frequent live music, active bars, and comfy coffee shops.
Torontonians already proud of their city now have even more of a reason to be proud. This is in addition to Toronto’s already diversity, active sport teams, and ongoing urban revival. This year, Toronto will also be holding the NBA All-Star game, placing the city in NBA history as the first to hold the game outside the United States.
Though Toronto is heating up, the city is still physically cold. With more visitors expected in 2016, owners of hostels, hotels, and B&Bs should upgrade their heating and water to help their patrons feel more comfortable in our more-than-chilly city. Contact us now to get started.
