Everyday Necessities See Rising Costs

On Thursday, the Ontario government created its budget for 2016. Although many parts of the budget gave relief to those in need, specifically free tuition for post-secondary students of families earning under $50,000 per year, not all Torontonians benefitted. One result of the budget plans is an increase in costs to the average Torontonian.
For homeowners, this is particularly relevant. Taxes on energy have risen. Gas costs and natural gas costs will begin rising this month. The average homeowner can expect to pay $15 more per month on gas – not a large number but significant enough for you to consider making your gas-based systems more efficient.
